Leicester Square, London

Leicester Square, London After 17 months of work, one of the most well-known squares in London was reopened with a lively festival in the spring of 2012, after almost every stone was turned over, the square was completely replanted, seating areas renewed and lighting of the whole square was installed beneath the benches, using warm-white instalight LEDLUX LH. Leicester Square is to the east of Piccadilly Circus and north of Trafalgar Square. There is a pedestrian precinct around the park, with large cinemas, hotels and shops. In the park itself, there are statues of William Shakespeare, Charlie Chaplin, William Hogarth, John Hunter and Isaac Newton. The busy comings and goings can be observed best from the illuminated seats.
